Collaboration to improve care, expand health research

The University of Florida Health Science Center and Shands HealthCare will collaborate in "Forward Together," a $580 million, five-year project to improve quality of care, patient safety and community engagement. The project was designed by a panel of university and hospital leaders and includes new research facilities, educational programs and implementation of electronic medical records.
