Construction starts weaken slightly in April

Despite slipping 3% from March, new construction starts are expected to spring forward as fall approaches. That's the forecast from Jim Haughey. "Overall, starts are expected to stabilize during the summer, turn up in the fall and then rise progressively, but modestly, in 2011," writes Haughey.
