Georgia airport submits application to FAA for privatization

Gwinnett County, Ga., has submitted an application to the Federal Aviation Administration to privatize Briscoe Field. Propeller Investments would like to take the general aviation airport private and install 10 gates for small commercial aircraft. The Airport Privatization Pilot Program would allow the airport to privatize without repaying FAA grants for airport improvements.
