How brands can fight Facebook's community pages

Facebook's new community pages are bad news for brands, writes John Bell, because they divert attention from official brand pages and often offer little information besides a logo and a Wikipedia link. Brand managers should be vocal about their dissatisfaction, polish their Wikipedia pages, and focus on optimizing their existing Facebook pages to minimize fallout from the new feature.
