Study looks at storing CO2 in construction materials

Energy Technologies Institute is investing $1.4 million to determine whether carbon dioxide emissions can be rounded up and safely stored in a stone-like construction material. "Mineralization potentially provides a permanent storage method," said ETI CEO David Clarke. Initial findings indicate the process could be viable for brick and concrete plants.
