A growing number of supermarket chains are using tech solutions to speed up the process for time-starved shoppers. Customers of Busch's Fresh Food Markets in Michigan have the option of doing their lists online, using a tool that creates customized lists capable of filtering out items based on specific criteria such as "gluten free." Meijer is testing an online ordering, curbside pickup service, and Kroger lets shoppers download coupons directly to their cards.
