Texas airport implements random vehicle searches

Vehicles approaching Austin Bergstrom International Airport are now subject to random searches as part of the Visible Intermodal Protection and Response program run jointly by the TSA, local police and airport security. Drivers may refuse the vehicle search, but they will be diverted to a parking lot rather than being allowed curbside access to the terminal.
