How Twitter is being used in the college classroom

While digital tools such as YouTube have been more readily integrated into the college classroom, the use of Twitter has not caught on as quickly among professors. However, many are beginning to use Twitter for educational purposes. This article describes five ways -- from building students' personal brands to helping them write more concisely -- in which educators are using the microblogging tool to enhance learning for their students.
