Mississippi flooding stalls coal exports

Flooding along the Mississippi River has stalled shipments of hundreds of thousands of tons of coal. Canadian National and several river terminals have had to delay some shipments. Most coal exports depart from the East Coast but with global demand high, coal shipments down the Mississippi have been growing.
