Students with learning disabilities offer advice on overcoming challenges

College students with learning disabilities shared their experiences, and strategies for overcoming academic and other challenges, with younger students as part of the Dare to Dream conference this week at the University of Rhode Island. About 500 high-school students with disabilities attended the conference -- an annual event that included workshops on subjects from personal finance to social skills in the workplace.
