Risks deemed low, but smartphones still face attacks

As cell phones take on heavier corporate database and storage functions, IT departments are getting increasingly concerned about the potential vulnerability of the devices and their internal networks to viruses and malware. So, despite public assurances that such risks are low, companies are moving to limit the opportunities for such attacks even as on the consumer front sellers of security software push antivirus products to protect the devices from invasion.
