Lending thaw helps Sacramento airport expansion

As lending markets thaw out, the Sacramento International Airport may be able to proceed with its $1 billion renovation plan. Although a hotel was scrapped from the plan, a new terminal and concourse building should be completed by 2012. Other airports across the U.S. such as Oakland and Las Vegas have postponed projects this year.
