More consumers wary of low-cost generics

An increasing number of patients are complaining and more physicians are worried that some generic drugs may not be as safe and effective as their brand counterparts. Some patients report a relapse of symptoms upon switching to a generic medication. Meanwhile, some experts are raising new questions about the production, approval and monitoring of generics.
