Physician house calls make a comeback for seniors

Washington Hospital Center's Medical House Call program sends physicians to the homes of geriatric patients, providing essential primary care and a connection that seniors and their families rely on. Lawmakers are planning to reintroduce the "Independence at Home" bill aimed at coordinating benefits for Medicare patients and making it less expensive to make house calls.
