Study: Whooping cough making a comeback

A study in Pediatrics found one in 20 children who skipped the pertussis vaccine developed whooping cough, compared with one in 500 vaccinated children. The lead researcher said a recent resurgence in the disease is a result of more parents choosing not to vaccinate their children.
