Colorado hospital puts $400M expansion project on fast track

In an attempt to take advantage of current construction costs, the University of Colorado Hospital is pushing ahead with a $400 million expansion project at its Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora. "This is the fastest rate we've ever moved on a project," said Bruce Schroffel, the hospital's president and CEO. Construction, which is expected to get under way in January, could create 600 construction jobs.
