Early-college program in Newark graduates first students

A group of high-school seniors from Newark, N.J., became the first to graduate from an early-college program that organizers hope will help break the cycle of poverty in Newark and other low-income communities. The Rutgers Early College Humanities Program -- REaCH -- allows students to experience college-level academics and earn up to six college credits while they are still in high school.
