Report finds lower rates of health care infections at Ore. hospitals

An Oregon Health Authority report showed that compared with the national average, the state's hospitals have lower incidences of two common hospital-acquired infections, including central-line-associated bloodstream infections. "This information gives us a place to start as we improve patient safety," an Oregon Health Authority official said.
