Reports: Natural gas is the alt fuel of the future

North America's subterranean natural gas reserves are far greater than previously thought, writes economist John Clinkard. That means that gas, rather than nuclear, wind or solar, is poised to become America's fuel of choice for the next 20 to 30 years. "Clearly, this very full natural gas tank should help keep a lid on natural gas prices in particular, and energy prices in general, for many years to come," Clinkard writes.
