Flamingo to mark 65 years with a $10M Margaritaville-themed addition

The Flamingo casino in Las Vegas will mark its 65th year in business with a $10 million, 15,000-square-foot addition in October. The Margaritaville-themed area will sport 22 table games and 220 slot machines -- and a fun-in-the-sun aura made famous by South Florida singer Jimmy Buffet. "The Margaritaville brand exudes nothing but fun... that's what gambling is about," said Rick Mazer, a regional president for Flamingo's parent company, Caesars Entertainment.
