A special educator's experience with layoffs in New York state

Teacher Pete Mason shares his experience with being laid off from a position teaching high-school students with Asperger's syndrome as a result of the "last-in, first-out" policies in New York state schools. Because of this policy, Mason predicts he will be replaced by a veteran teacher who may have little experience with this area of special education.
