Starbucks balks at Borders' plan to end cafe licenses

Seattle's Best owner Starbucks has filed an objection to bankrupt bookstore chain Borders' plan to end licensing agreements for in-store branded coffee shops across the country. Seattle's Best, which says Borders currently owes it about $5 million in trade debt, argued in a bankruptcy court filing the retailer isn't entitled to end licensing deals and continue to use its trademarks and products.
