GumGum lets L'Oreal change ads to match women's hair

L'Oreal Ombre is the first brand to sign on to GumGum's technology that selects ads for publisher sites based on the hair color of women in photos posted on the site. The "in-image ad platform" puts ads in photos across 1,000 news and entertainment sites, adjusting the product featured to suggest how viewers could recreate the look they're seeing. "I think we're a marriage between native advertising and display," said Ophir Tanz, CEO of GumGum.
