Tennessee considering a change to middle school licensing

New middle school teachers may be required to apply for the grades 7 through 12 teaching license, and the state could change the current K-8 license to a K-6 license. The No Child Left Behind Act requires that middle school teachers be "highly qualified" in the core subjects they teach.
