Contractor marks 20 years of building factories

Lakeland, Fla.-based Knight Industrial Equipment marks its 20th anniversary in June with the distinction of having made news headlines in Russia one night in 1994 when the company had signed a $12 million contract to design and build a fertilizer facility for the commercial port of Murmansk. The project was the biggest ever handled by Knight, but the company has persevered as a turnkey operation that can create a factory from start to finish.
