Obituary: Psychologist trained educators to teach gifted children

Psychologist Michael Pyryt, 54, who headed the University of Calgary's Centre for Gifted Education, helped promote gifted education before his accidental death earlier this year. Pyryt, who himself was gifted, helped parents identify and engage their gifted children and had a special interest in developing emotional and social intelligence.
