Federal budget could provide $10M for West Sacramento dredging

President Barack Obama's proposed federal budget would provide $10 million to dredge the Port of West Sacramento to San Francisco Bay. The project, which has stalled for about 20 years, would deepen the shipping channel to 35 feet. If the budget is approved by Congress, the funds would come out of the Army Corps of Engineers budget.
