Founders say Twitter isn't for sale

The founders of Twitter, Evan Williams and Biz Stone, are looking at Microsoft and Apple as business models and are committed to running the microblogging network for at least the next five years, they told an audience at the opening session of the D: All Things Digital conference. "We are 100% into Twitter," Williams said. They also mentioned the possibility of introducing fees for frequent users, boosting the site's real-time search function and running banner ads.
