Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner is settling into his post after a rocky start. Mr. Geithner has carefully rebuilt his image and assumed a position of power over markets as he implements the Obama administration's ambitious plans for economic recovery. "He's begun to navigate the moving pieces of three-dimensional chess in Washington," said Scott Talbott, senior vice president for government affairs at The Financial Services Roundtable. "This is an extraordinary time. There's no blueprint, and he's operating without a net."
