Liberty Green applies for permit on Indiana biomass energy plant

Liberty Green Renewables, LLC, has applied for a permit for a $90 million biomass energy plant in Milltown, Ind. But residents and others nearby are concerned about the hazardous air and water pollutants that would be released from the plant. The 32-megawatt plant would burn wood waste, switch grass and corn stover to produce power.
