Technology gives nurses more face time with patients

New technologies such as wireless communications, real-time location systems and delivery robots can help nurses spend more time on direct patient care, as well as improve nurse satisfaction and hospital operations, according to a report for the California HealthCare Foundation. Study author Fran Turisco said nurses are asking how technology can help them "redesign the care process."
