Air Force seeks support in quest for alternative fuel

The Air Force today is convening a meeting of experts in energy and aviation in an effort to spur development of commercially viable alternative jet fuels. The Air Force seeks to cut its consumption of fossil fuels in half by 2016, and officials are seeking input from universities, private industry and others.
