DOT commits $80M to high-speed rail projects in 5 states

The U.S. Department of Transportation has earmarked $80 million for high-speed rail projects in five states: California, Florida, New Mexico, New York and Wisconsin. The first round of high-speed rail grants will be used for planning and engineering work.
