Facebook to roll out new privacy controls

In response to criticism from privacy advocates and threats of regulation from elected officials, social network Facebook is planning to streamline and simplify its privacy settings, to allow members to opt out of data-sharing with a few clicks. The changes also create a simpler way to stop the feed to the new "instant personalization" that appears on partner sites such as Yelp and Pandora.
