Freight congestion tracking will drive infrastructure improvements

About 650,000 freight-hauling trucks continue to electronically collect speed and location data that will be used to determine America's infrastructure improvements in the coming years. The data that's being collected and monitored by the American Transportation Research Institute will help steer federal funding to those areas that suffer the worst traffic bottlenecks.
