Michigan adds workers to accelerate hospital development

A $754 million project to build the University of Michigan's C.S. Mott Children's and Von Voigtlander Women's Hospitals is a full year ahead of schedule and is now expected to open next fall. Michigan was able to complete the 1.1-million-square-foot project ahead of schedule by adding about 1,200 new construction workers and rearranging the project's work flow.
