Miss. program gets grant to fight childhood obesity

The Mississippi chapter of AAP's Be Our Voice advocacy training project has been awarded $15,000 in grant money to fight childhood obesity. The program aims to increase efforts to reduce obesity, show health care professionals how they can participate, and provide educational resources for children, parents and school staff.
