Probe is under way for purported horse slaughter in Florida

A van purportedly containing horse meat was found Wednesday in Miami-Dade County, Fla., which could mean that equine slaughter is still being practiced in the area despite efforts to clamp down on the horse-meat trade. Police suspect that the meat was being sold on the black market and are looking into it.
