Texas airport hosts students for aviation overview

The Calhoun County Airport at Port Lavaca, Texas, last week treated 400 elementary- and middle-school children to talks and demonstrations on design, development, operation and use of aircraft during the facility's annual Kid's Day. Area pilots flew in to help and display a Cessna 172 SP Skyhawk, EuroCopter, Piper PA18A, 185 Skywagon Amphibian Plane and a KitFox Plane.
