Ivory Coast unrest pushes cocoa prices higher

Civil unrest in Ivory Coast has pushed cocoa futures to their highest level in more than a week. Cocoa for July delivery went up $48, or 1.6% over fears that fighting will delay the harvest in the world's largest producer of cocoa. Ongoing battles have already disrupted cocoa shipments.
