Judge strikes down Wisconsin collective-bargaining law

A state judge has voided Wisconsin's law that limits the collective-bargaining rights of public-sector unions. "It is not this court's business to determine whether 2011 Wisconsin Act 10 is good public policy or bad public policy," Dane County Circuit Judge Maryann Sumi wrote in her ruling. The state Supreme Court will hear arguments next month on whether to consider the case.
