Online newspaper project to help students learn 21st-century skills

Students at an elementary school in New York state plan to use iPads, wireless Internet and other technology to create a new online school newspaper, due out next year. Students at all grade levels will participate in creating content for and producing the paper, which will be accessible on classroom SMART Boards. The project will be paid for with a grant and is aimed at increasing students' technology use and improving writing skills.
