WTC builders use 3D imaging technology to advance construction

Three-dimensional imaging software technology is aiding architects in designing three new World Trade Center buildings. The 3D prototype lets builders virtually fit all the plumbing, electrical and other systems within the space that is being designed. "So you can actually go worm's eye or sky-high views and look down or look up," says project manager Serge Demerjian.
