Colo. middle-school students become young investors

Under the guidance of finance and accounting students from the University of Colorado, students at Summit Middle School in Boulder, Colo., researched companies, selected stocks and pitched their choices to a group of professional investors. The group used students' recommendations to invest $25,000, and now, students start the day checking the performance of their stock portfolio.
