Hotels compete for guest attention through technology offerings

Several hotels and hotel chains are putting a greater focus on technological upgrades to attract today's tech-savvy travelers. Some of the newest hotels, such as the Radisson Blu hotel at Mall of America in Bloomington, Minn., tout automated lighting and air-conditioning, RFID-enabled room keycards and in-room iPads.
