Lifestyle program reduces central body fat in obese men

A one-year diet and exercise program reduced central body fat by 26% and improved cardiorespiratory fitness 20% in obese men with dyslipidemia, according to research in Diabetes Care. The program, which included regular counseling, also improved glucose tolerance, the study said.
