When should students in England learn about personal finance?

England's Education Secretary Michael Gove has announced plans for students in secondary school to learn about finance, but the Money Advice Service now is pushing for those lessons to begin earlier -- based in part on research showing that children's financial habits are formed by age 7 and are influenced by parents. The organization cited a study by researchers from Cambridge University that showed children have an understanding about money from a young age.
