Billboard magazine has launched three online trending music charts on its website and social channels. McDonald's is the initial sponsor of the Trending 140 chart, which updates songs based on real-time Twitter talk surrounding them. Hollister is exclusively sponsoring the Emerging Artists chart, which follows artists with fewer than 50,000 Twitter fans. The third list, Top Tracks, monitors Twitter chatter around music in a 24-hour period.
