New ESPN studio uses 114 screens to engage sports fans

When ESPN's new flagship "SportsCenter" studio debuts in June, anchors will interact with 114 video displays that include tablets and TV monitors. ESPN is also developing holographic display technology for use in the studio. The upgrades are part of ESPN's effort to keep sports fans interacting with the channel through television, computers, smartphones and tablets, according to Rob King, the network's senior vice president for news.
