Yahoo's YouTube rival to offer better rates for content creators

Yahoo is planning to unveil its YouTube-rival video platform later this summer after a delay caused by contract disputes with content creators. Yahoo is reportedly offering those creators a better revenue-sharing split and higher ad rates than they'd get on YouTube, but issues including promotion and ownership of content have stalled some negotiations, according to this report.
